Dr. Adel is a general practitioner in Ezbet El-Nakhl, a slum in Cairo inhabited mostly by coptic-christian Egyptians.
A lot of them collect garbage for a living, therefore not able to afford proper medical treatment in one of Cairo's state hospitals.

For his patients, he is not only a doctor, but also a close friend.
