What makes one of the regularly occurring blackouts in Lebanon unique?
Take a stroll in the neighbourhood, engulf in a full-black night and witness a barber, doing haircuts in the dark only with the aid of a headlight from a motorcycle. Terrific.

My very first collection of pictures showing fresh bullet holes.

A few minutes ago I was in an adamant desire for some ice-cold Pepsi. I had no idea if there was a shop still open in my neighbourhood. Only wearing some shorts (who would be still awake at this time of the day?) I was heading to an unknown location. One minute out of the door I became aware of this huge sand heap next to construction site, with a huge dog sitting on top of it. He became aware of me as well, lifting his head, and for some reason, I halted. He came towards me, he was nothing more than an adorable lonely soul, looking for some togetherness. Resuming my walk, he accompanied me.
